Florence Griffith
Florence Griffith-Joyner, her nick
name was Flo-Jo; she was born on December 21, 1959 and died because of epilepsy
on September 21, 1998 at the age of 38 years. Flo-Jo was the famous in sprinting
events of 100 meters and 200 meters she also had other activities such as designing
basketball uniforms. Of course she had Awards like gold medal in the former
event and silver in the latter. But she stopped her career because of
tendinitis in her right leg; she was accused of using performance enhancing
drugs which was totally wrong.
